Issue seven open submission call
Seeking short fiction, flash fiction, and poetry
Dear reader,
In just two weeks, The Orange & Bee will be opening for submissions for Issue seven.
The window opens at 12am on July 1 and closes at 11:59 pm on July 14. Keep in mind that our submission window (and publishing dates) are provided in AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time), which is roughly one day ahead of the US, Canada, and Europe.

For Issue seven, we are looking for short fiction, flash fiction, and poetry. We will also consider short and flash non-fiction, such as memoir or creative nonfiction.
Word/line limits
Poetry: up to 50 lines (but we’re a little bit flexible!)
Flash: up to 1000 words
Short fiction/non-fiction: up to 4000 words
Payment
Poetry: flat rate $US50.00 per poem
Flash: flat rate $US80.00 per story (max 1000 words)
Short fiction/non-fiction: $US0.08 per word (max 4000 words)
